MF Global targets Asia franchise expansion

The futures and options broker wants to grow its equity and equity derivatives team by up to 20% in the region, says manager Alexis Depaepe. It wants to capitalise on fears of counterparty risk and take on prime brokers, too.

Futures and options broker MF Global is striving to expand its equity and equity derivatives team by up to 20% in Asia, according to manager Alexis Depaepe.
