Singapore’s best executive in 2009: David Conner

The OCBC chief led the gutsy purchase of the Asian private banking assets of ING. His efforts to improve credit standards and raise profitability were lauded, too. He wins our award as Singapore’s best executive in 2009.

A regional banking analyst in Singapore described David Conner as very well regarded and having done a fantastic job. “I think you’ll find a lot of resonance,” he added.
