ING’s asset management arm names Asian CIO

ING Investment Management has promoted Pranay Gupta as chief investment officer for Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. The asset manager falls under the insurance group of businesses that ING has vowed to divest by 2013.

ING Investment Management announced today (January 29) that it had promoted Pranay Gupta to be its chief investment officer (CIO) for the Asia-Pacific region.

The asset manager said Gupta had relocated to Hong Kong, having initially joined ING last year as deputy CIO for its European business.
