China equity investors urged to diversify overseas

Retail investors have piled into China’s equity markets on the back of surging growth. But relatively expensive valuations and fears over asset inflation mean it is time for domestic investors to seek education on how to diversify successfully overseas, say fund managers.

Chinese retail investors still lack the necessary experience to operate independently in overseas markets and need to be educated, fund managers have stressed.
