BoA-ML names India wealth management heads

The bank has named Pradeep Dokania as chairman of global wealth and investment management India in a new role. He is replaced by Atul Singh as head of India advisory as the bank strives to expand in the country.

Bank of America-Merrill Lynch has named Pradeep Dokania chairman of global wealth and investment management India in a new role for the bank as it strives to grow its business in the country.

Dokania had been the firm’s long-time head of India advisory. Stepping into his shoes is Atul Singh, formerly the bank’s head of strategy for Asia-Pacific global wealth and investment management (GWIM).

Both appointments are based in Mumbai and are effective immediately, with Singh relocating from Singapore.
