Barclays Wealth nabs three South Asia bankers from UBS

The UK private bank appointed Vikram Malhotra as head of its South Asia team after snatching him from UBS. Malhotra’s colleagues Jagdish Kale and Rohit Nanani accompanied him to his new employer.

Barclays Wealth has poached three senior bankers from UBS to boost its South Asian private banking unit.

The wealth management and private banking arm of the UK’s Barclays Bank announced today (February 9) that it had appointed Vikram Malhotra as managing director and head of South Asia. He was previously country team head for the India International Asia business at UBS.
