Investment bank Nomura reshuffles global deck

Nomura revealed a series of management appointments today in an organisational reshuffle. It includes promoting Hiromasa Yamazaki to global markets CEO as well as Rachid Bouzouba to co-head of global equities.

Japanese investment bank Nomura announced a series of management appointments today (March 8) in an organisational reshuffle.

It has promoted Hiromasa Yamazaki to chief executive officer of its global markets business, from deputy CEO. He will oversee equities, fixed income and asset finance business out of Tokyo.

He replaces Akira Maruyama, who becomes deputy president of Nomura Securities and takes on responsibility for the public sector. Maruyama will also be appointed president...
