Opinion: China’s RMB changes could foster QDII boom

The new renminbi bond issue by McDonald's and a foreign exchange liberalisation between China and Malaysia underlines the impact of renminbi liberalisation. These developments should encourage more offshore investment by Chinese corporates, and make the mainland's institutional investors clamour for more overseas assets too.
