Local corporate bond volumes rising, says ADB

Bond offerings in the corporate space have pushed Asia’s local currency bond market to reach the US$5 trillion mark, according to the Asian Development Bank. China, Indonesia and Singapore led the way in terms of issuance.
A boom in corporate bond issuance in emerging East Asia has driven growth in the region's local currency bond markets to just over US$5 trillion, according to a new report by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
