SE Asian banks as creditworthy as western banks: Moody's

Southeast Asian banks remain resilient in the face of crisis, as western banks continue to experience challenges. The gap in creditworthiness between the two is swiftly closing, says Moody’s.

The underlying credit fundamentals of Southeast Asian banks have improved, particularly in relation to western banks. As such the ratings differential between the two will continue to diminish, according to Moody’s.
